The Problem with File Sharing Today
We have all been there. You just took a photo on your phone and want it on your laptop. What do you do? Email it to yourself? Upload it to Google Drive and then download it again? Send it via WhatsApp and lose the quality?

It feels ridiculous that in 2025, moving a file to a device sitting right next to you requires sending that file all the way to a server halfway across the world and back.
There is a better way.
Introducing Infinity Share: The Future of Local Transfer
We are proud to release Infinity Share, a browser-based tool that creates a direct, secure tunnel between your devices.
It is designed with one goal in mind: Privacy and Speed.
Unlike other apps, Infinity Share does not upload your files to any server. Instead, it connects your devices directly using your local Wi-Fi network. This means your personal photos, documents, and videos never leave your building.
🚀 Key Features
No App Installation: Works directly in your browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox).
Lightning Fast Speed: Uses your local router speed, not your internet bandwidth.
Unlimited File Size: Send 1GB or 100GB—it doesn’t matter because there is no server cost.
100% Private: Data goes from Device A to Device B. No middleman.
Cross-Platform: Connect Android to iPhone, Windows to Mac, or Linux to iPad.
How It Works (Step-by-Step Guide)
Using Infinity Share is incredibly simple. You don't need to create an account or sign up.
Step 1: Get on the Same Network Ensure both devices (e.g., your phone and your laptop) are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. This is crucial because the app creates a local bridge between them.
Step 2: Open the Tool Open [Link to your GitHub Page] on both devices.
Step 3: Connect
On Device A: You will see a unique ID and a QR Code.
On Device B: Simply scan the QR code with your camera, or type the ID into the "Connect" box.
Step 4: Start Sharing Once connected, you will see a green status light. You can now chat in real-time or drag and drop files to transfer them instantly.
The Technology: What is WebRTC?
For the tech-savvy users, you might be wondering how this works without a backend server.
Infinity Share is built on WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) and PeerJS.
Usually, when you send a file, it follows this path:
Your Device -> Cloud Server -> Recipient's Device
With Infinity Share, the path looks like this:
Your Device -> Recipient's Device
We use a "Signaling Server" only for a split second to introduce the two devices to each other (like a digital handshake). Once they "shake hands," the server steps away, and the data flows directly through your local router.
This technology is what allows us to offer this service for free, with zero ads and zero data harvesting.
FAQ
Q: Does this use my mobile data? A: Minimal data is used to load the page and make the initial connection. The actual file transfer happens over your Local LAN (Wi-Fi), so it does not consume your internet data cap.
Q: Why does it say "Connect to same Wi-Fi"? A: Because this is a peer-to-peer tool, firewalls often block connections coming from outside networks. Being on the same Wi-Fi ensures a secure, open path for the file transfer.
Q: Is it secure? A: Yes. Your files are encrypted in transit and are never stored on any server.
